He represented the [145th district](/source/Georgia's_145th_House_of_Representatives_district), which includes [Baldwin County](/source/Baldwin_County%2C_Georgia) and a small portion of [Putnam County](/source/Putnam_County%2C_Georgia). During his tenure in the [Georgia House of Representatives](/source/Georgia_House_of_Representatives), Kidd was the sole elected independent. Kidd was a lobbyist and represented the [Medical Association of Georgia](/source/Medical_Association_of_Georgia) and the [R. J.
