'''Russell Shields''' (born 22 July 1962) is a former [Australian rules football](/source/Australian_rules_football)er who played for [Hawthorn](/source/Hawthorn_Football_Club) in the [Victorian Football League](/source/Australian_Football_League). After playing 17 games over two years at Hawthorn, he moved to South Australia to play for [Central District](/source/Central_District_Football_Club) in the [South Australian National Football League](/source/South_Australian_National_Football_League).
