# Russ Miner

**Russ Miner** is an American politician. He serves as a [Republican member](/source/Republican_Party_(United_States)) for the 26th district of the [Montana House of Representatives](/source/Montana_House_of_Representatives).

Miner first ran for office in [2022](/source/2022_Montana_House_of_Representatives_election). He was the only candidate for District 19.[1] Due to redistricting following the [US census](/source/2020_United_States_census) Miner ran for District 26 in the [2024 elections](/source/2024_Montana_House_of_Representatives_election).[2] He was once again unopposed.[3]

During the 2023 legislative session Miner served on five committees.[4] He was on both the House and Joint Fish, Wildlife and Parks, both the House and Joint Natural Resources, and the Taxation committees.[4] In 2025 he was Vice-chair for the Agriculture committee and a member of the Taxation committee.[5]
