'''Rupert Harden''' (born 9 May 1985) is a former [rugby union](/source/rugby_union) footballer.  He played as a [prop](/source/Rugby_union_positions).

Formerly part of the [Newcastle Falcons](/source/Newcastle_Falcons) Academy, tighthead Harden spent 2008–09 with [National Division Two](/source/National_Division_Two) side [Tynedale](/source/Tynedale_R.F.C.) where he had spent time on loan.

The Australian-born prop mixed his youth between London, [Rugby School](/source/Rugby_School) and Cumbria and represented England Counties.

He caught the eyes of the [Gloucester](/source/Gloucester_RFC) coaching set up whilst playing against [Cinderford](/source/Cinderford_R.F.C.) and will be looking to further his rugby development at [Kingsholm](/source/Kingsholm_Stadium).  He is also registered to play with [Moseley](/source/Moseley_Rugby_Football_Club)
