**Rune Emanuelsson** (8 October 1923 – 21 March 1993)[1] was a Swedish [football](/source/Football_(soccer)) [defender](/source/Defender_(football)) born in [Gothenburg](/source/Gothenburg). He was nicknamed *Killing* (meaning *kid*, young goat). He was also part of Sweden's squad for the [football tournament](/source/Football_at_the_1948_Summer_Olympics) at the [1948 Summer Olympics](/source/1948_Summer_Olympics), but he did not play in any matches.[2] He won a total of 13 [caps](/source/Cap_(sport)) for the [Sweden national team](/source/Sweden_men's_national_football_team) between 1945 and 1951.[3]

He debuted for [IFK Göteborg](/source/IFK_G%C3%B6teborg) in 1942 and played for the club until 1955 when he retired. He died in 1993.
