# Rune Åhlund

**Gustav Rune Åhlund** (31 August 1930 – 8 February 2019) was a Swedish [long-distance runner](/source/Long-distance_running). He competed in the [men's 5000 metres](/source/Athletics_at_the_1956_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_5000_metres) at the [1956 Summer Olympics](/source/1956_Summer_Olympics).[2]
