**Ruby Stacey** (born 10 March 2005)[1] is a British [artistic gymnast](/source/Artistic_gymnastics) and [national team member](/source/Great_Britain_women's_national_artistic_gymnastics_team). She represented Great Britain at the [2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships](/source/2021_World_Artistic_Gymnastics_Championships) in [Kitakyushu, Japan](/source/Kitakyushu%2C_Japan), placing 15th in the all-around.[2] She is the 2026 silver medalist in the all-around and 2024 silver medallist on uneven bars at [British Championships](/source/British_Gymnastics_Championships).[1]

## Junior gymnastics career

### Espoir - 2018

At her first British Championships, Stacey won gold on bars, silver in the all-around and bronze on vault.

She was selected to represented [Great Britain](/source/Great_Britain_women's_national_artistic_gymnastics_team) at the 2018 Olympic Hopes Cup, alongside [Halle Hilton](/source/Halle_Hilton), [Alia Leat](/source/Alia_Leat), Mia Scott and Amelia Thomas. The team placed second, with Stacey winning gold on bars and bronze on floor.[3]

### Junior - 2019

Stacey was named as a reserve for the [2019 Junior World Championships](/source/2019_Junior_World_Artistic_Gymnastics_Championships).

## Senior gymnastics career

### 2021

Stacey was selected for the [2021 World Championships](/source/2021_World_Artistic_Gymnastics_Championships), alongside [Georgia-Mae Fenton](/source/Georgia-Mae_Fenton) and [Becky Downie](/source/Becky_Downie). It was her first major championships.[4] She qualified for the all-around final, where she placed 15th.[4]

At the [British Championships](/source/British_Gymnastics_Championships), she won gold on uneven bars and bronze in the all-around.[5]

### 2022

Stacey attended the [Koper Challenge Cup](/source/2022_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series#Women), where she won bronze on uneven bars.[6] She later competed at the [Mersin Challenge Cup](/source/2022_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series#Women), where she placed 5th in the floor final.[7]

### 2023

At English championships, Stacey finished behind [Ondine Achampong](/source/Ondine_Achampong) to win silver in the all-around, as well as winning a further silver on vault and bronze on bars.[8] She competed at the [Doha World Cup](/source/2023_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series), making the vault and floor finals; she placed 7th in both.[9] She later competed at both the [Szombathely](/source/2023_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series) and [Paris Challenge Cups](/source/2023_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series). In Paris, she made the beam final and placed 8th.[10]

### 2024

At the 2024 [British Championships](/source/British_Gymnastics_Championships), Stacey won silver on uneven bars, her third British medal, and also placed 7th in the all-around.[11] She attended the [Antayla Challenge Cup](/source/2024_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series), where she made the vault final and placed 7th.[12]

She was selected as a reserve for the [2024 Olympic Games](/source/2024_Summer_Olympics).[13]

### 2025

Stacey picked up a full set of medals at English championships, winning gold on bars, silver in the all-around and bronze on floor.

She attended the [2025 Varna World Challenge Cup](/source/2025_FIG_Artistic_Gymnastics_World_Cup_series) along with [Emily Roper](/source/Emily_Roper_(gymnast)). She won gold on vault and silver in the uneven bar finals.

Stacey was named to the [British](/source/Great_Britain_women's_national_artistic_gymnastics_team) squad for the [2025 European Championships](/source/2025_European_Artistic_Gymnastics_Championships) alongside [Alia Leat](/source/Alia_Leat), [Emily Roper](/source/Emily_Roper_(gymnast)), [Ruby Evans](/source/Ruby_Evans) and [Frances Stone](/source/Frances_Stone).[14] She competed on the vault and uneven bars and helped the team place sixth.[15]

### 2026

She competed in the all-around competition at Welsh Championships, where she won gold in the open competition. At English Championships she finished fourth in the all-around, winning gold on balance beam and silver on vault.[16]

At British Championships Stacey won silver in the all-around competition and on the balance beam.[19]
