The **Royal Dutch Chess Federation** ([Dutch](/source/Dutch_language): *Koninklijke Nederlandse Schaakbond* - *KNSB*) is the national organization for [chess](/source/Chess) in the [Netherlands](/source/Netherlands). It is affiliated with the [World Chess Federation](/source/World_Chess_Federation). Its headquarters are in [Haarlem](/source/Haarlem). The current president is [Bianca de Jong-Muhren](/source/Bianca_de_Jong-Muhren).

The Royal Dutch Chess Federation was founded in 1873 and is one of the country's oldest sports federations. It organizes a [Dutch Chess Championship](/source/Dutch_Chess_Championship) and initiatives such as a Chess Challenge in secondary schools.[1]
