# Roy Outram

**Alexander Roy Outram** (19 February 1901 – 27 March 1987) was an [Australian rules footballer](/source/Australian_rules_football) who played with [Collingwood](/source/Collingwood_Football_Club) and [Richmond](/source/Richmond_Football_Club) in the [Victorian Football League](/source/Victorian_Football_League_(1897%E2%80%931989)) (VFL).[1]

Outram was recruited from Kyabram, in the [Goulburn Valley Football League](/source/Goulburn_Valley_Football_League).[2] He played one game at before returning home to Kyabram. Encouraged by his younger brother, Percy, he tried again in 1928 but this time with where he played 4 games. He didn't like city live and returned home to Kyabram.

Outram won the 1927 - [Goulburn Valley Football League](/source/Goulburn_Valley_Football_League) goal kicking award.[3]
