'''Rotenhain''' is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a community belonging to a ''[Verbandsgemeinde](/source/Verbandsgemeinde)'' – in the [Westerwaldkreis](/source/Westerwaldkreis) in [Rhineland-Palatinate](/source/Rhineland-Palatinate), [Germany](/source/Germany). Since 1972 it has belonged to what was then the newly founded [''Verbandsgemeinde'' of Westerburg](/source/Westerburg_(Verbandsgemeinde)), a kind of collective municipality. Rotenhain lies on the ''Oberwesterwaldbahn'' ([railway](/source/railway)) to Limburg and Au (Sieg).
