**Rosse Bay** is an [Arctic](/source/Arctic) waterway in the [Qikiqtaaluk Region](/source/Qikiqtaaluk_Region), [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada. It is located in [Nares Strait](/source/Nares_Strait) between [Pim Island](/source/Pim_Island) and [Ellesmere Island](/source/Ellesmere_Island)'s [Johan Peninsula](/source/Johan_Peninsula). The bay is also connected to [Rice Strait](/source/Rice_Strait).

## Geography

Physical characteristics include a gravel and sand [moraine](/source/Moraine) ridge on its southwestern shore.[2] There are also tidewater glaciers. The main discharge of Lefferts Glacier is into Rosse Bay.[3]
