**Ross Carson Skeate** (born 2 August 1982 in [Johannesburg](/source/Johannesburg), South Africa) is a rugby union player.

He plays for the [Sharks](/source/Sharks_(Super_rugby_franchise)) and [Sharks](/source/Sharks_(rugby_union)) in the [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) and [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup) competitions respectively.[1] He returned to South Africa on a two-year deal from 1 July 2010 after spending just under two years at French Top 14 side [Toulon](/source/RC_Toulonnais).[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

He moved to [France](/source/France) after the completion of the 2008 South African season. He played for the [Stormers](/source/Stormers) franchise in the [Super 14](/source/Super_Rugby) and for [Western Province](/source/Western_Province_(rugby_team)) in the domestic [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup) competition.
