'''Ronald Wayne Snell''' (born August 11, 1948) is a Canadian retired [ice hockey](/source/ice_hockey) player. He was drafted by the [Pittsburgh Penguins](/source/Pittsburgh_Penguins) in the second round, fourteenth overall, in the [1968 NHL Amateur Draft](/source/1968_NHL_Amateur_Draft). He played seven games in the [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League), all for the Pittsburgh Penguins, during the [1968–69](/source/1968%E2%80%9369_NHL_season) and [1969–70 seasons](/source/1969%E2%80%9370_NHL_season). He then moved to the [World Hockey Association](/source/World_Hockey_Association), playing two seasons for the [Winnipeg Jets](/source/Winnipeg_Jets_(1972%E2%80%931996)) in [1973–74](/source/1973%E2%80%9374_WHA_season) and [1974–75 seasons](/source/1974%E2%80%9375_WHA_season). In 90 games in the WHA Snell had 24 goals and 25 assists, along with 40 penalty minutes.
