He batted and threw [left-handed](/source/left-handed).

==Career==
Calloway was selected in the eighth round of the {{Baseball year|1997}} draft by the [Arizona Diamondbacks](/source/Arizona_Diamondbacks). He played in the Major Leagues for the Montreal Expos from {{Baseball year|2003}} to {{Baseball year|2004}}. Calloway spent the {{Baseball year|2005}} season with the [Norfolk Tides](/source/Norfolk_Tides), the Triple-A affiliate of the [New York Mets](/source/New_York_Mets) and {{Baseball year|2006}} for the [Pawtucket Red Sox](/source/Pawtucket_Red_Sox), the Triple-A affiliate of the [Boston Red Sox](/source/Boston_Red_Sox). Prior to the {{Baseball year|2007}} season, he signed a minor league contract with the [Philadelphia Phillies](/source/Philadelphia_Phillies) and was assigned to their Triple-A affiliate, the [Ottawa Lynx](/source/Ottawa_Lynx). On May 18, 2007, Calloway announced his retirement.

Calloway attended James Lick High School and graduated in 1994.
