[Captain](/source/Captain_(Royal_Navy)) **Roi Edgerton "Tug" Wilson**, [CBE](/source/Order_of_the_British_Empire), [DFC](/source/Distinguished_Flying_Cross_(United_Kingdom)) (1 June 1921 – 17 March 2009) was a [Royal Navy](/source/Royal_Navy) officer[1] and Master of the [Royal Caledonian Schools](/source/Royal_Caledonian_Schools).

## Early life

He was educated at [Old Swinford Hospital](/source/Old_Swinford_Hospital), [Stourbridge](/source/Stourbridge) then worked in an engineering company before volunteering for the Royal Navy.
