**Roger Gustafsson** (born 29 February 1952, in [Gothenburg](/source/Gothenburg)) is a Swedish former [football](/source/Football_(soccer)) player and [manager](/source/Coach_(sport)). He has played in the highest Swedish league, [Allsvenskan](/source/Allsvenskan), with [GAIS](/source/GAIS),[1] but is better known as the best performing manager in Allsvenskan ever, having won five [Swedish championships](/source/Swedish_football_champions) with [IFK Göteborg](/source/IFK_G%C3%B6teborg). He also took the club to the [Champions League](/source/UEFA_Champions_League) group stage twice and the quarter-finals of the same tournament once. He is still active in the club as leader of the youth section.
