# Roderic Ripley

**Roderic George Ripley** was an English cricketer active from 1922 to 1929 who played for [Northamptonshire](/source/Northamptonshire_County_Cricket_Club) (Northants) in 1922 and later for [Eastern Province](/source/Eastern_Province_cricket_team) in South Africa. He was born in [Kettering](/source/Kettering) on 16 May 1900 and died in [Kimberley](/source/Kimberley,_Northern_Cape), South Africa, on 29 January 1932. He appeared in six first-class matches as a righthanded [batsman](/source/Batting_(cricket)) who scored 94 [runs](/source/Run_(cricket)) with a highest score of 23.[1]
