Lamsam competed at the [1994 Asian Games](/source/1994_Asian_Games) in [Hiroshima](/source/Hiroshima) and returned with a silver medal in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay and a bronze medal in the [50 metre freestyle](/source/Swimming_at_the_1994_Asian_Games).<ref name="hope" />

In 1997 she received the [Badge of Honour](/source/British_honour_system) in recognition of her achievements and contributions to sport in [Hong Kong](/source/Hong_Kong).<ref name="hope" />
