**Robin Liddell** (born 28 February 1974) is a Scottish racing driver who currently competes in the [Michelin Pilot Challenge](/source/Michelin_Pilot_Challenge).[2]

## Career

Liddell has two series championships to his name, winning the GT class of the [2001 European Le Mans Series](/source/2001_European_Le_Mans_Series) and the GS class of the [2015 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge](/source/2015_Continental_Tire_Sports_Car_Challenge).[3]

In 2014, Liddell joined [Corvette Racing](/source/Pratt_%26_Miller) for the inaugural season of the [United SportsCar Championship](/source/IMSA_SportsCar_Championship), lining up for the team at [Daytona](/source/Daytona_International_Speedway) and [Sebring](/source/Sebring_International_Raceway).[4] As the team's typical third drivers, [Richard Westbrook](/source/Richard_Westbrook) and [Jordan Taylor](/source/Jordan_Taylor_(racing_driver)), were racing with [General Motors](/source/General_Motors)' [Daytona Prototype](/source/Daytona_Prototype) teams, Liddell and [Ryan Briscoe](/source/Ryan_Briscoe) were drafted in to serve as their temporary replacements.[5] In 2018, Liddell took on a dual driver and team manager role with [Michelin Pilot Challenge](/source/Michelin_Pilot_Challenge) team Rebel Rock Racing, having driven for the team in previous years.[6] The following season, in a race at [Road America](/source/Road_America), Liddell edged out the [McLaren](/source/McLaren_Automotive) of [Kuno Wittmer](/source/Kuno_Wittmer) to the line by seven hundredths of a second after Wittmer had inadvertently hit his pit limiter on the way to the finish.[7][8]
