# Robin Khuda

**Robin Khuda** (born 1979 or 1980) is an Australian billionaire, and the founder of [AirTrunk](/source/AirTrunk), a data centre company.

Robin Khuda was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[2] He was educated at [Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Government Boys' High School](/source/Sher-e-Bangla_Nagar_Government_Boys'_High_School) and [SOS Hermann Gmeiner College](/source/SOS_Hermann_Gmeiner_College).[2]

Khuda moved to Australia aged 18 to continue his accountancy studies.[3] He earned a degree in accounting from the [University of Technology Sydney](/source/University_of_Technology_Sydney).[3]

He worked in the telecoms and cloud computing businesses for [Singtel](/source/Singtel) and [Fujitsu](/source/Fujitsu), before becoming chief financial officer (CFO) of [Pipe Networks](/source/PIPE_Networks), and then CFO of [NextDC](/source/NextDC).[3]

At one point, he used his retirement savings to keep the business going and considered bankruptcy.[1]

In 2024, he was named AFR "Business Person of the Year".[4]

Khuda lives in Sydney with his wife, two daughters and his parents.[5]
