**Robert Teitel** is an American film producer and writer.[1]

Teitel produced the films *[Soul Food](/source/Soul_Food_(film))* (1997), *[Men of Honor](/source/Men_of_Honor)* (2000), and the three films in the *Barbershop* series: *[Barbershop](/source/Barbershop_(film))*, *[Barbershop 2: Back in Business](/source/Barbershop_2%3A_Back_in_Business)*, and *[Beauty Shop](/source/Beauty_Shop)*. He also co-produced the television series *[Barbershop: The Series](/source/Barbershop%3A_The_Series)*.

A 1990 graduate of [Columbia College Chicago](/source/Columbia_College_Chicago), he has been associated with writer/director [George Tillman Jr.](/source/George_Tillman_Jr.) since they were students there.
