**Robert Robert** is the stage name of **Arthur Gaumont-Marchand**, a [Canadian](/source/Canada) electronic music [DJ](/source/Disc_jockey) and performer from [Montreal](/source/Montreal), [Quebec](/source/Quebec).[1] He is most noted for his song "Les gens", which was shortlisted for the [SOCAN Songwriting Prize](/source/SOCAN_Songwriting_Prize) in the French category in 2022.[2]

Born and raised in [Montreal](/source/Montreal), Gaumont-Marchand worked as a DJ and producer before releasing *Silicone Villeray*, his first album as a singer, in 2021.[3] The album featured contributions from [CRi](/source/CRi), Benoit Parent, Félix Petit and [Hubert Lenoir](/source/Hubert_Lenoir).[3]

He followed up in 2023 with the album *Bienvenue au pays*,[4] and in 2025 with *Boost*.[5]

He has also composed music for film and television.
