# Robert Meston

**Robert Meston** was an Australian politician.

He was a pastoralist in the [Clarence River](/source/Clarence_River_(New_South_Wales)) district before entering politics. In 1860 he was elected to the [New South Wales Legislative Assembly](/source/New_South_Wales_Legislative_Assembly) for [Tenterfield](/source/Electoral_district_of_Tenterfield), but he resigned in 1861.[1]
