**Rob Greenhalgh** (born 17 August 1977)[1] is a British sailor who has competed in and won both the [Volvo Ocean Race](/source/Volvo_Ocean_Race) and the [Extreme Sailing Series](/source/Extreme_Sailing_Series).

Greenhalgh has participated in the Volvo Ocean Race aboard *[ABN Amro I](/source/ABN_Amro_I)* in the [2005–06 Volvo Ocean Race](/source/2005%E2%80%9306_Volvo_Ocean_Race), *Puma* for Puma Ocean Racing Team in the [2008–09 Volvo Ocean Race](/source/2008%E2%80%9309_Volvo_Ocean_Race), *[Azzam](/source/Azzam_(2011_yacht))* for Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing in the [2011–12 Volvo Ocean Race](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Volvo_Ocean_Race) and on [Maprfe](/source/Mapfre_(yacht)) in the [2014–15 Volvo Ocean Race](/source/2014%E2%80%9315_Volvo_Ocean_Race).[2][3]

He has also participated in the [Extreme Sailing Series](/source/Extreme_Sailing_Series), winning it in 2007 (when it was known as the iShares Cup) and as Skipper of Team Duqm Oman in 2013, and in 2014 of Oman Air.[4]
