**Robbie Henderson** (born 11 October 1982) is a Scottish [footballer](/source/Association_football), who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Pollok F.C.](/source/Pollok_F.C.) in the [Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region](/source/Scottish_Junior_Football_Association,_West_Region). He has also played in [midfield](/source/Midfielder) during his career.

## Career

Henderson started his career on the books of [Leeds United](/source/Leeds_United_F.C.), where he won Young Players Player of the Year, 1999, before making his way to Scotland to sign for [Scottish Premier League](/source/Scottish_Premier_League) side [Kilmarnock](/source/Kilmarnock_F.C.).

He never made an appearance for the *Killie* first team, partly due to a fractured eye socket at the hands of one of his team-mates,[1] but was sent out on loan to [Raith Rovers](/source/Raith_Rovers_F.C.), and [Queen of the South](/source/Queen_of_the_South_F.C.) where he managed a few appearances at each club.

When he was released by Kilmarnock, he signed for [Greenock Morton](/source/Greenock_Morton_F.C.) in the [Scottish Football League Second Division](/source/Scottish_Football_League_Second_Division) as part of [John McCormack](/source/John_McCormack_(footballer,_born_1955)), Henderson won a championship medal for the third division.

After around 18 months at Morton, Henderson moved on to [Stenhousemuir](/source/Stenhousemuir_F.C.) before leaving the senior game in 2007 to sign for [Junior](/source/Scottish_Junior_Football_Association) side [Pollok](/source/Pollok_F.C.) after a deal with [Berwick Rangers](/source/Berwick_Rangers_F.C.) fell through after one appearance, then on to [Bo'ness United](/source/Bo'ness_United_F.C.) until he was transfer listed in July 2008.[2]

Henderson returned to the Junior game in March 2011 with [Glenafton Athletic](/source/Glenafton_Athletic_F.C.) and captained the club to the [West Super League First Division](/source/Scottish_Junior_Football_West_Division_One) title in 2011–2012. He left Glenafton for [Kirkintilloch Rob Roy](/source/Kirkintilloch_Rob_Roy_F.C.) in October the following season.[3]

On 24 January 2016, Henderson join [Arthurlie](/source/Arthurlie_F.C.) as assistant manager.[4]
