His first major act was the female-fronted metal band [Otep](/source/Otep).[1] He wrote and played on the albums *[Sevas Tra](/source/Sevas_Tra)*, *[House of Secrets](/source/House_of_Secrets_(album))* and *[Smash the Control Machine](/source/Smash_the_Control_Machine)*. He was a touring guitarist for [Korn](/source/Korn) from July 2005 to March 2008 after the departure of [Brian "Head" Welch](/source/Brian_%22Head%22_Welch).
