# Roadbook

A **roadbook** is a diagrammatic book typically used by [rally](/source/Rallying) [co-drivers](/source/Co-driver) and [overland](/source/Overlanding) travelers to navigate across uncertain terrain. Usually, the roadbook consists of several pages of [tulip-diagrams](/source/Tulip-diagram), [GPS](/source/GPS) co-ordinates and written instructions to assist in [navigation](/source/Navigation).[1]

In rally sport, the term [pacenotes](/source/Pacenotes) is more usual.
