The **Ripia River** is a river of the [Hawke's Bay region](/source/Hawke's_Bay_region) of [New Zealand](/source/New_Zealand)'s [North Island](/source/North_Island). A major tributary of the [Mohaka River](/source/Mohaka_River), it flows generally southeast from its sources at the northern end of the [Ahimanawa Range](/source/Ahimanawa_Range) 25 kilometres east of [Lake Taupō](/source/Lake_Taup%C5%8D), reaching the Mohaka 40 kilometres northwest of [Napier](/source/Napier%2C_New_Zealand).
