==Biography==
Groff was trained at [Yale University](/source/Yale_University) and [New York University Tisch School of the Arts](/source/New_York_University_Tisch_School_of_the_Arts), where she currently teaches.

A founding member of [Elevator Repair Service](/source/Elevator_Repair_Service) Theater Company, she has been a part of the writing, staging, and performing of their shows since the company's inception in 1991. The musical is an adaptation of [Naoshi Arakawa](/source/Naoshi_Arakawa)'s Kodansha manga [Your Lie in April](/source/Your_Lie_in_April).
