Since 1969, he has decorated the sets designed by [Patrice Chéreau](/source/Patrice_Ch%C3%A9reau), and together they have put on several dramatic texts by [Bernard-Marie Koltès](/source/Bernard-Marie_Kolt%C3%A8s).  In the theatre, they participated in [the centennial productions of](/source/Jahrhundertring) Wagner's ''Der Ring des Nibelungen'' at the Bayreuth Festival conducted  by [Pierre Boulez](/source/Pierre_Boulez).  For the [Opéra National de Paris](/source/Op%C3%A9ra_National_de_Paris), they presented [Alban Berg](/source/Alban_Berg)'s ''[Lulu](/source/Lulu_(opera))'', and Offenbach's ''[The Tales of Hoffmann](/source/The_Tales_of_Hoffmann)'', and for the [La Scala, Milan](/source/La_Scala), they collaborated on Wagner's ''[Tristan und Isolde](/source/Tristan_und_Isolde)'' (2007).  Peduzzi also created films with Chéreau, such as ''[La Reine Margot](/source/La_Reine_Margot_(1994_film))'' and ''[Ceux qui m'aiment prendront le train](/source/Ceux_qui_m'aiment_prendront_le_train)''.  He was nominated for a [César Award](/source/C%C3%A9sar_Awards_1976) for Best Production Design in 1976 for his work on ''[La Chair de l'orchidée](/source/La_Chair_de_l'orchid%C3%A9e)''.

Peduzzi's sets are often formed of large vertical masses symbolising the dangers that threaten the characters.
