English priest in the late 15th and early 16th centuries

**Richard Lavender** was an [English](/source/England) [priest](/source/Priest) in the late [15th](/source/15th-century) and early [16th centuries](/source/16th-century).[1]

Lavender was educated at [Winchester College](/source/Winchester_College) and [New College, Oxford](/source/New_College%2C_Oxford).[2] He was [Archdeacon of Leicester](/source/Archdeacon_of_Leicester) from 1485 until his death in 1508.[3]
