'''Richard Michael Duffy''' (born 30 August 1985) is a Welsh former professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who is the player-manager at {{English football updater|CongletT}} club [Congleton Town](/source/Congleton_Town_F.C.). A versatile player who can play either on the right or at the centre of defence, he won 13 caps for [Wales](/source/Wales_national_football_team) between 2005 and 2008. He is the younger brother of [Robert Duffy](/source/Robert_Duffy_(footballer)).
He began his career at [Swansea City](/source/Swansea_City_A.F.C.), making his debut as a 16-year-old in December 2001, before winning a six-figure sum move to [Premier League](/source/Premier_League) side [Portsmouth](/source/Portsmouth_F.C.) in January 2004. He never broke into the first-team picture at [Fratton Park](/source/Fratton_Park) and instead enjoyed numerous [loan](/source/Loan_(sports)) moves at [Burnley](/source/Burnley_F.C.), [Coventry City](/source/Coventry_City_F.C.), and former club Swansea. He switched to [Millwall](/source/Millwall_F.C.) in February 2009 before signing with [Exeter City](/source/Exeter_City_F.C.) in July 2009. He joined [Port Vale](/source/Port_Vale_F.C.) in July 2012 and helped the club to secure [promotion](/source/Promotion_and_relegation) out of [League Two](/source/EFL_League_Two) in 2012–13. He stayed at the club for four years before joining Notts County via [Eastleigh](/source/Eastleigh_F.C.) in June 2016. He joined [Kidsgrove Athletic](/source/Kidsgrove_Athletic_F.C.) in August 2019.
