**Richard Berney** (1674 – c. 1738), of [Langley](/source/Langley%2C_Norfolk), [Norfolk](/source/Norfolk), was an English politician.

He studied law at [Gray's Inn](/source/Gray's_Inn) and was Recorder of Norwich from 1727 to his death.

He was a [Member](/source/Member_of_Parliament) (MP) of the [Parliament of Great Britain](/source/Parliament_of_Great_Britain) for [Norwich](/source/Norwich_(UK_Parliament_constituency)) 1710–1715.[1]
