The **Reuberg** is a ridge, up to ,[1] in the [Lower Saxon Hills](/source/Lower_Saxon_Hills) in the districts of [Holzminden](/source/Landkreis_Holzminden) and [Hildesheim](/source/Landkreis_Hildesheim) in the German state of [Lower Saxony](/source/Lower_Saxony).

## Location

The Reuberg lies in the western part of the [Leine Uplands](/source/Leine_Uplands), a northern section of the [Lower Saxon Hills](/source/Lower_Saxon_Hills). It measures about 3.5 kilometres in length and is situated within the triangle formed by the settlements of [Alfeld](/source/Alfeld_(Leine)), [Delligsen](/source/Delligsen) and [Duingen](/source/Duingen). It also lies between [Brunkensen](/source/Brunkensen) to the north, [Warzen](/source/Warzen_(Alfeld)) to the east, [Gerzen](/source/Gerzen_(Alfeld)) to the southeast, [Grünenplan](/source/Gr%C3%BCnenplan) some distance away to the east-southeast, [Hohenbüchen](/source/Hohenb%C3%BCchen_(Delligsen)) to the west and some way from [Coppengrave](/source/Coppengrave) to the northwest.

The hill ranges around the Reuberg are the [Duinger Berg](/source/Duinger_Berg) to the northwest, [Külf](/source/K%C3%BClf) to the north, the [Sieben Berge](/source/Sieben_Berge_(ridge)) to the east, the [Steinberg](/source/Steinberg_(Leine_Uplands)) to the southeast, the ridge of [Hils](/source/Hils) to the southwest and further to the west the knife-edge of the [Ith](/source/Ith), part of which belongs to the [Weser Uplands-Schaumburg-Hamelin Nature Park](/source/Weser_Uplands-Schaumburg-Hamelin_Nature_Park). The valley of the Glene, a southwestern tributary of the River [Leine](/source/Leine_(Aller)), runs over to the Duinger Berg.

On the eponymous main summit of the Reuberg (), stands a [transmission mast](/source/Transmission_mast) belonging to [Deutsche Telekom](/source/Deutsche_Telekom). On the northwestern slopes of the ridge are the [Lippold Cave](/source/Lippold_Cave) and the [cultural monument](/source/Cultural_monument) of Gleneburg. The [B 3](/source/Bundesstra%C3%9Fe_3) federal road runs past the Reuberg some way to the east.

## Hiking

Several forest tracks and footpaths pass over the Reuberg, including one that runs over the crest from the valley of the Glene to Warzen. The [E11 European long distance path](/source/E11_European_long_distance_path) runs past the hill between Grünenplan and Gerzen where the Reuberg transitions to the [Steinberg](/source/Steinberg_(Leine_Uplands)).
