The '''Reston Group''' is a [Silurian](/source/Silurian) to [Devonian](/source/Devonian) [lithostratigraphic](/source/lithostratigraphy) [group](/source/group_(stratigraphy)) (a sequence of [rock strata](/source/rock_strata)) in the [Southern Uplands](/source/Southern_Uplands) [terrane](/source/terrane) of southern [Scotland](/source/Scotland) and northernmost [England](/source/England). The name is derived from [Reston](/source/Reston%2C_Scottish_Borders) in the Scottish Borders.
