**Reika Hashimoto** (橋本麗香, *Hashimoto Reika*, born December 25, 1980 in [Tokyo](/source/Tokyo)) is a Japanese [model](/source/Model_(person)) and [actress](/source/Actress).[1] She is of [Japanese](/source/Japanese_people)-[Spanish](/source/Spanish_people) heritage.[citation needed] Her father is an American citizen of [Spanish descent](/source/Spanish_American).[citation needed] She has been working as a model since she was 10, and her acting debut was in the 1999 movie *[Hakuchi](/source/Hakuchi_(1999_film))* (directed by [Makoto Tezuka](/source/Makoto_Tezuka), opposite [Tadanobu Asano](/source/Tadanobu_Asano)), and has performed in several movies.
