# Reg Isidore

**Reg Isidore** (4 April 1949 – 22 March 2009) was a rock drummer best known for his work with [Robin Trower](/source/Robin_Trower). Isidore was Trower's first drummer and he played on the Robin Trower Band's first two albums *[Twice Removed from Yesterday](/source/Twice_Removed_from_Yesterday)* (1973) and *[Bridge of Sighs](/source/Bridge_of_Sighs_(Robin_Trower_album))* (1974).[1] In his early career he played with [Peter Bardens](/source/Peter_Bardens).

He regrouped with Trower and [Jack Bruce](/source/Jack_Bruce) in 1981 to record the album *[Truce](/source/Truce_(album))*. He also recorded albums with [Richard Wright](/source/Richard_Wright_(musician)), [Peter Green](/source/Peter_Green_(musician)) and [Jimmy Witherspoon](/source/Jimmy_Witherspoon), among others.

Isidore died from a heart attack in the morning of 22 March 2009.[2]
