**Red Bull Flying Bach** is a dance performance by [Flying Steps](/source/Flying_Steps) and guest ballerina [Yui Kawaguchi](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Yui_Kawaguchi&action=edit&redlink=1) / [Anna Holmstrom](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anna_Holmstrom&action=edit&redlink=1). The work combines [breakdance](/source/Breakdance) with [modern ballet](/source/Modern_ballet), performed to an [electronica](/source/Electronica) adaptation of [Johann Sebastian Bach](/source/Johann_Sebastian_Bach)'s *[The Well-Tempered Clavier](/source/The_Well-Tempered_Clavier)*.[1] The music was arranged by Christoph Hagel and the piece choreographed by Vartan Bassil.[2]

The performance has been popular worldwide, and premiered in the United States in June 2014.[2] It won an [Echo Klassik](/source/Echo_Klassik) award in 2010.[3] This routine was performed at the [Bundestag](/source/Bundestag), the [2011 Eurovision Song Contest](/source/Eurovision_Song_Contest_2011) and the [Federal Presidency](/source/President_of_Germany)'s Summer Festival, and it was given a special [Echo award](/source/Echo_(music_award)).[4][5][6]
