**Red Brook** is a minor river in [Greater Manchester](/source/Greater_Manchester) in [North West England](/source/North_West_England).

Rising at the confluence of **Caldwell Brook** and **Sinderland Brook** at Covershaw Bridge near Sinderland Green,[1] the river runs north west towards [Partington](/source/Partington,_Greater_Manchester), where it runs into the [Manchester Ship Canal](/source/Manchester_Ship_Canal) opposite the mouth of [Glaze Brook](/source/Glaze_Brook).[2]

## Caldwell Brook

Caldwell Brook runs northwards to Covershaw Bridge, draining the [Civil Parish](/source/Civil_Parish) of [Dunham Massey](/source/Dunham_Massey).

## Sinderland Brook

Sinderland Brook runs westwards from [Sale](/source/Sale,_Greater_Manchester).
