# Reality Obsessed

***Reality Obsessed*** is a Canadian half-hour documentary television series produced by [Peace Point Entertainment Group](/source/Peace_Point_Entertainment_Group) that airs on [TVtropolis](/source/TVtropolis). In each episode, host Murtz Jaffer attempts to demystify the underpinnings of [reality television](/source/Reality_television) by trying to recreate events that took place on *[Big Brother](/source/Big_Brother_(American_TV_series))*, *[American Idol](/source/American_Idol)*, *[The Apprentice](/source/The_Apprentice_(American_TV_series))* and numerous other American reality television series past and present.[1]

The series has featured many reality television stars, including [Brian Drolet](/source/Brian_Drolet) from [*The Hills*](/source/The_Hills_(TV_series)) and [*Damage Control*](/source/Damage_Control_(TV_series)), [Johnny Fairplay](/source/Jon_Dalton) from *[Survivor](/source/Survivor_(American_TV_series))*, Dave Olsen from *[Beauty and the Geek](/source/Beauty_and_the_Geek)*, and Jason Peoples from *[Average Joe](/source/Average_Joe)*. Greg Fisher and Derek Treffry composed the music for *Reality Obsessed*.[2]

*Reality Obsessed* had 13 episodes in its first season.[3] A second season aired in 2010.[4]
