== Biography ==
Pech studied at the conservatoire of Lille then the [Conservatoire de Paris](/source/Conservatoire_de_Paris) where he was a pupil of [Raoul Pugno](/source/Raoul_Pugno), [Xavier Leroux](/source/Xavier_Leroux) and [Charles Lenepveu](/source/Charles_Lenepveu).

He participated three times at the [Prix de Rome](/source/Prix_de_Rome), where he was second prize with the [cantata](/source/cantata) ''Alyssa'' in 1903, and first prize with the cantata ''Medora'' in 1904, on a text by Édouard Adenis. 

He stayed at the [Villa Medici](/source/Villa_Medici) in Rome in 1904 which he left in order to marry in 1905.

With [Lazare-Lévy](/source/Lazare-L%C3%A9vy), he was the professor of composer of pianist [Henri Betti](/source/Henri_Betti).

Pech composed songs, a [string quartet](/source/string_quartet) and other pieces of [chamber music](/source/chamber_music), church music works, including a mass, and the music educational work ''80 leçons d’harmonie''.<ref>[https://books.google.com/books?id=4aByGwAACAAJ ''80 leçons d’harmonie'' (Heugel, 1934)]</ref>
