**Ray Fitzpatrick Joseph** was a [Guyanese](/source/Guyana) [cricketer](/source/Cricket) active during the late 1970s and early 1980s who played predominantly for [Berbice](/source/Berbice_cricket_team) and [Guyana](/source/Guyana_cricket_team), with brief appearances for [Northamptonshire](/source/Northamptonshire_County_Cricket_Club) (Northants) and [Scotland](/source/Scotland_national_cricket_team). He was born in [Berbice](/source/Berbice) on 12 February 1961. He appeared in 28 first-class matches as a righthanded [batsman](/source/Batting_(cricket)) who [bowled](/source/Bowling_(cricket)) [right arm fast medium](/source/Fast_bowling). He scored 137 [runs](/source/Run_(cricket)) with a highest score of 26 [not out](/source/Not_out) and took 49 [wickets](/source/Wicket) with a best performance of six for 114.[1]

Joseph played one season in 1982 as overseas professional/coach with Scottish East League side, Kirkcaldy Cricket Club (now defunct). During his spell at Kirkcaldy, he gained a cap playing for the Scotland national cricket team.
