Hallor began working in films with [Edison Studios](/source/Edison_Studios) in 1915.<ref name="es" /> He starred in the 1927 film ''[Driven from Home](/source/Driven_from_Home)''.{{Citation needed |date=April 2021}} He also acted on stage in a Gus Edwards revue.<ref name=es/>
