'''Raymond Murray Cullen''' (September 20, 1941 – March 14, 2021) was a [Canadian](/source/Canadians) professional [ice hockey](/source/ice_hockey) [centre](/source/Centre_(ice_hockey)) who played six seasons in the [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League) (NHL). He played for the [Detroit Red Wings](/source/Detroit_Red_Wings), [New York Rangers](/source/New_York_Rangers), [Minnesota North Stars](/source/Minnesota_North_Stars) and [Vancouver Canucks](/source/Vancouver_Canucks). Cullen scored in the first North Stars home game and also in the first North Stars [home playoff game](/source/1968_Stanley_Cup_playoffs). Prior to joining the NHL, Cullen played several seasons in different minor leagues, being named to the First All-Star Team in his only seasons in both the [EHL](/source/Eastern_Hockey_League) and [CPHL](/source/Central_Hockey_League_(1963%E2%80%931984)), as well as being named the EHL rookie of the year. He also was the winner of the [Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award](/source/Dudley_%22Red%22_Garrett_Memorial_Award) as the rookie of the year in the [American Hockey League](/source/American_Hockey_League) in [1964–65](/source/1964%E2%80%9365_AHL_season). Ray's older brothers, [Brian](/source/Brian_Cullen) and [Barry](/source/Barry_Cullen), also played in the NHL. 

Born in [St. Catharines](/source/St._Catharines), Ontario, Cullen was the owner of Ray Cullen Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership in [London, Ontario](/source/London%2C_Ontario).
