**Rashid Jaber Al Yafi´i** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): رشيد جابر اليافعي) is an Omani [football](/source/Association_football) manager who last served as the head coach of [Oman national football team](/source/Oman_national_football_team).[1]

## Managerial career

Jaber started his managerial career with Omani side [Dhofar](/source/Dhofar_Club), helping them win the league and [1999 Sultan Qaboos Cup](/source/Sultan_Qaboos_Cup).[2] In 1999, he was appointed manager of [Al Nasr (Salalah)](/source/Al-Nasr_SC_(Salalah)) in Oman, helping them win the [2000 Sultan Qaboos Cup](/source/Sultan_Qaboos_Cup).[3]

In 2001, Jaber was appointed manager of [Oman](/source/Oman_national_football_team).[3] In 2022, he was appointed manager of Omani club [Seeb](/source/Al-Seeb_Club), helping them win the [2022 AFC Cup](/source/2022_AFC_Cup), the only AFC trophy an Omani club has ever won.[4][5]

On 19 September 2024, Jaber was again appointed manager of [Oman](/source/Oman_national_football_team).[6]
