== Career ==
Raphael Kandra reached a career-high world ranking of 13 in May 2019, after reaching the semi-final of the 2018 [British Open](/source/British_Open_Squash_Championships) - the first German to achieve this - and the quarter-final of the [China Squash Open](/source/China_Squash_Open).<ref>[http://www.psaworldtour.com/page/PlayerProfile/0,,13121~1926,00.html PSA Player Profile]</ref><ref>{{Squash Info}}</ref>

He won his first German National Championships title in 2018 against [Valentin Rapp](/source/Valentin_Rapp); he reached the final for the first time in 2013. He has represented the German national team on numerous [European Squash Team Championships](/source/European_Squash_Team_Championships) and [World Team Championships](/source/WSF_World_Team_Squash_Championships). He won a bronze medal at the [European Individual Championships](/source/European_Squash_Individual_Championships) in 2017.
