'''Ramrai''' is a village in [Jind district](/source/Jind_district) of the state of [Haryana](/source/Haryana), India, known as a holy place associated with lord Rama. It is located on the [Jind](/source/Jind)-[Hansi](/source/Hansi) road, {{convert|9|km|mi}} west of Jind.  Ramrai  is a traditional south-west [Yaksha](/source/Yaksha) of the [Kurukshetra](/source/Kurukshetra) region.<ref name = "JDA1" /> 

There are various castes, living with brotherhood to each another 
The village's name derives from Rama's arrival. There is an old temple to Parashurama in the village.<ref name="JDA1">District Administration, Jind. Village Ramrai is basically famous for its swimming. A lot of national and state players comes from here in swimming. 
Notable people from the village include [Chaudhary Dal Singh](/source/Chaudhary_Dal_Singh), the first Irrigation and Power Minister of Haryana, and [Parminder Singh Dhull](/source/Parminder_Singh_Dhull), the [MLA](/source/Member_of_the_Legislative_Assembly_(India)) for the [Julana](/source/Julana) constituency of the [Haryana Legislative Assembly](/source/Haryana_Legislative_Assembly) for term 2009–2019 and [Ravinder Singh Dhull](/source/Ravinder_Singh_Dhull) who is State Spokesperson of Haryana Congress.
