# Ramiro Mayor

**Constancio Ramiro Mayor Ruiz** (born 9 May 1991) is a Spanish professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays for [Unionistas de Salamanca CF](/source/Unionistas_de_Salamanca_CF) as a [central defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)#Centre-back).

## Club career

Ramiro was born in [Zaragoza](/source/Zaragoza), [Aragon](/source/Aragon). A product of [Real Zaragoza](/source/Real_Zaragoza)'s youth ranks, he made his first-team debut on 13 December 2011 in a 1–1 away draw against [AD Alcorcón](/source/AD_Alcorc%C3%B3n) for [the campaign](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Copa_del_Rey)'s [Copa del Rey](/source/Copa_del_Rey).[1] He spent the vast majority of his spell with the [Aragonese](/source/Aragon) with the [reserve team](/source/Real_Zaragoza_B), playing [one season](/source/2010%E2%80%9311_Tercera_Divisi%C3%B3n) in [Tercera División](/source/Tercera_Divisi%C3%B3n) and [another](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_B) in [Segunda División B](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_B).

On 7 July 2012, Ramiro signed with another club in the third level, [Villarreal CF B](/source/Villarreal_CF_B).[2] In January of the following year, he left for fellow league side [Zamora CF](/source/Zamora_CF).[3]

On 9 July 2014, Ramiro moved to another [reserve team](/source/Reserve_team), [Real Valladolid B](/source/Real_Valladolid_B) also in the third division.[4] On 16 June of the following year he joined Alcorcón from [Segunda División](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n),[5] being loaned to [CD Guijuelo](/source/CD_Guijuelo) on 20 August.[6]

[Gimnástica Torrelavega](/source/Gimn%C3%A1stica_de_Torrelavega) announced on 2 January 2019, that they had signed Mayor.[7]
