Ramarks are a non-directional, continuously transmitting radar beacon which indicate the bearing to a navigational hazard when viewed on a radar [plan position indicator](/source/plan_position_indicator) (PPI) display.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Ramark - International Dictionary of Marine Aids to Navigation |url=https://www.iala-aism.org/wiki/dictionary/index.php/Ramark |access-date=2024-07-17 |website=www.iala-aism.org}}</ref> Some ramarks transmit a unique set of [Morse](/source/Morse_code) characters, which are visible on the PPI display as dots and dashes along the bearing of the ramark.

Ramarks are no longer used in the United States.
