== Description ==
The project for the Ram Janaki Path is divided into two stretches in states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, [Nitin Gadkari](/source/Nitin_Gadkari), informed the [Lok Sabha](/source/Lok_Sabha) during the [Budget session](/source/Union_budget_of_India) of 2025 in the month of March in the [parliament of India](/source/parliament_of_India) that the two stretches of the project would be completed by May and December 2027 in states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh  respectively.<ref name=":0">{{Cite web |last=Service |first=Express News |date=2025-03-21 |title=Power corridor {{!}} House apprised on U.P-Bihar road project |url=https://www.newindianexpress.com/nation/2025/Mar/21/power-corridor-house-apprised-on-up-bihar-road-project |access-date=2025-11-23 |website=The New Indian Express |language=en}}</ref> 

The project of the Ram Janaki Path highway is extended upto [Bhithamore](/source/Shrikhandi_Bhittha) border near the [Indo - Nepal border](/source/India%E2%80%93Nepal_border) line in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar in India.<ref name=":0" />
